Ms. Trudie Kandole Asiimwe a Research Associate at AFIEGO. Ms. Asiimwe holds a Master of Science degree in Environment and Natural Resources from Makerere University.

She is also a trained lawyer and majored in Environmental Law.

Ms. Assimwe, who has over ten years’ experience in research, has previously worked with or for the National Forestry Authority (NFA), National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Uganda’s NGO Forum and other organisations.

Ms. Asiimwe has also been trained in project planning and management, trade policies and nomenclature, food security and others.
